BCA Architects is excited to announce the promotion and hiring of several project managers. Jason Masty and Seamus O’Connor are long-time BCA employees who were promoted to the position of project manager, and Carlo Pane was recently hired in this same role. These individuals are responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of their assigned projects in order to ensure effective execution; for preparing project work plans, budgets, schedules and quality initiatives; and for serving as the primary client liaison and main point of contact for the design team.
With 16 years of experience, Masty has spent the majority of his architectural career on K-12 educational facilities. He is currently leading the coordination and design efforts for the $2 million renovation of San Antonio Elementary School in Lockwood, CA. Additionally, he is acting in a support role for a new joint-use gymnasium at Round Valley High School in Humboldt County, CA that will serve each of Round Valley Unified School District’s campuses and be a community use facility for residents of the area. With BCA Architects for the past two years, Masty’s background includes architectural studies at the University of Arizona, Pima Community College and Sierra College.
O’Connor has been with BCA Architects for the past six years and is an Associate. He brings a rounded portfolio with public K-12 schools, charter and private schools, community college facilities and senior living projects. He is presently focused on leading Huntington Beach City School District’s $160 million bond program where BCA is performing in the program management role. O’Connor is lending his exceptional design talent to the phased transformation of Winters High School and the San Antonio Elementary School renovation project. He achieved his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Arizona State University.
