The performing centers are part of a comprehensive four-year program allowing students to explore multimedia, visual arts, stagecrafts and production while learning the traditional core academic subjects. The new buildings also provide conference facilities for teachers and administration, assembly and lecture space for students, and performance space for the communities of Campbell, Saratoga and San Jose.
The highly flexible interior design of each 200-seat theater allows for multiple configurations, from traditional proscenium to black box. Exteriors are designed to fit comfortably into the existing campuses through the use of similar materials, colors and building scale. By designing one building footprint that integrates well within the different sites, design and construction costs are greatly lowered.
