Eureka, CA: BCA Architects will seek approval of the final Facilities Master Plan tonight from Freshwater School District’s Board of Trustees. It includes the facilities improvements listed below in a two-phase project implementation approach. A local general obligation bond for $2.1 million will be voted upon by residents of Humboldt County in the June election. It is BCA Architects’ intent to begin project implementation of phase one immediately thereafter, with phase two commencing after Proposition 51 funds are received from the State.

  • Dry Rot Repairs at Existing Buildings
  • Re-Roof of Existing Buildings
  • HVAC Equipment Upgrades (heating) at 12 Locations
  • Playground Re-Surfacing
  • Playground Replacement
  • 21st Century Learning (permanent) Classroom Technology/Security
  • ADA Path of Travel Repairs/Outdoor Learning Space
  • Demolish Existing Portable
  • New Learning Commons/Maker’s Lab Building
